Default Merging both Tuesday classes, 7PM or 8PM

Salaams,

This seems inevitable. I can't risk having any more wasted classes.

I'm worried about the UK students who would have to remain awake past midnight to attend the session. Once a week, I think it is fine.

Also, I'm worried that there will be a student or two who lives on the West coast and will not be able to attend, if we choose the earlier time.

I'm leaning towards the earlier 7.00 PM. Please post in this thread.. which time is better for you, and if you can absolutely not attend at any of these new times.

Hmm, personally I like the 5pm class because it falls right after work hours and is only a half hour long. Perhaps the later class can be made only a half hour also, while keeping the 5pm one intact because it is used by international students etc...? Just an idea....

The classes will be merging. The later class is already half an hour or so.. The problem is of waste, not of time constraints. So you sort of misunderstood the purpose here. I've wasted way too much of my time and can't bare continuing the way things are.

So, yes, I know. Some people might even be displaced permanently because of this decision, but it will happen regardless. There is no other alternative.

The new merged class will not necessarily be a full 60 minutes either.. but the time it actually takes to get through the tables. I would say between 35-45 minutes. We start promptly and finish quickly.

Sallam

12pm UK time is 2am Doha time.

If I do miss any classes due to the time, I can just listen to the recordings.

Yes things are going to get difficult over here too as the timings over here will be 3 a.m.!
MAy Allah(S.T) make it easy for all of us! Ameen!
I really really really hope that students participate for all the upcoming classes and the old timings remain intact!!

But if this is what is finalised at the end..khair inshAllah! I would go with 8p.m.!
