IF we are merging, 8 p.m. is definitely better for me.. keeping in mind that in summer the time will go back for us another hour, so it will become 2 a.m. (if we choose 7 p.m.) I personally have neither intention nor ability to stay up that late, and waking up will be hard. But inshaAllah.. Ofcourse I hope we will not need to merge.

Wallahul Musta'aan..

ASAWRWB all.

I vote for the original time which is 9 PM EST.

Can we have a voting count or is that too democratic

Jazakallah

Salam 'alaikum all. The original class at 9pm EST worked for me perfectly, but yes, unfortunately there will be days I cannot attend at 9pm too (and I have msgd Br. Yusuf and let him know). Earlier times just do not work for me, neither 7, nor 8. I pray that a good time can be figured out for all, and no sessions are a waste for anyone.

Assalam-u-Alaikum

As i'm in the UK, the earlier time (7pm) would suit better.

Asad

(P.S. Is there a Tuesday class today?)

It would be only fair to set the timing in favor of the stronger group. Anyway, I'll insha'Allah try my best to attend at whatever time it might be.

OK, I gave people a chance to post in this thread for 2 full weeks. So I don't see any point in creating yet another thread for this issue. I announced in both classes today that we're moving forward with merging the two classes. I also announced that we're changing it to Wednesday.

I'm going for the earlier 7.00 PM time, as that results in the least people being displaced.

As for those that can not make this time, you can thank each other for this. I tried my best, and it would be outright wrong for me to keep the two classes separate. Enough is enough.

Today in the 5.00 PM class, we had 50% of the normal people who recite absent. I don't want to take names, but you know who you are.

So, once again, 7.00 PM every Wednesday evening is the final time.
