Ok people, we seriously gotta do something about this. The first years are having great fun with their study sessions while we're seeing attendance dropping session by session (yes, I wasn't there last night but I normally do attend).

There's no point in having a session if people don't attend regularly. As far as I can think of, only br. Zubair (and his bro Siraaj...who's always with us in spirit...lol) attend each and every session regularly.

Do people want these sessions to continue? If yes, please post in the thread...but then you have to attend unless and until it's absolutely unavoidable.

I also think we should go back to the student assignment method we used to employ before Ramadhan. I think that 'forced' people to prepare and participate. They also got a chance to get their mistakes corrected beforehand. What do you think Sher (and the others)?

Lastly, I think we should decide which session will be used for what. Ideally, one should be for Nur ul Idhah and one should be for Mirqaat.

UK people (especially sr. Ayesha): is it absolutely not possible for you to make it to at least one of the sessions? I mean, sr. Ayesha does attend the Wednesday classes regularly MashaAllah so maybe you could wake up for an hour on Monday or Thursday too?

JazakumAllahu Khairan.

walaykum assalaam.

(Good on you first years. MashaAllah.) I think everyone would like the stusy sessions to continue. I gradually stopped attending beacause I missed my fajr a couple of times. Why dosen't everyone just wake up and attend for a study session an hour before class?

If not then inshaAllah I will try my best to make it to the Mirqaat session as sister Kareemah is hosting Fiqh for us.

Not sure. Sher's responsible for Monday's session but since there's no class this Wednesday, he might not do it...

On a related note, I'll be making a new thread for the Mantiq sessions in the Mantiq section of the forum soon InshaAllah and there's already a thread for the Fiqh sessions in the Fiqh section so I think we should let go of this thread now and use those two other ones moving forward.
