    As-salamu alaikum,

There are some students that have signed up to read during the sessions but then have not shown up. I have deleted their names from the sign up list, which has opened up a spot or two for those who want to read.

For those names that have been deleted, if they still want to read, please PM me.

    Saad

As-salaamu 'alaykum - I just took my name off for this Saturday's reading, so a spot just opened if anyone else wanted to read this Saturday, specifically (Jan 14).

    As-salamu alaikum,

AlhamduliLlah these 'HN for Dummies' sessions have been going very well so far, and there has been good participation by students. I have also been benefiting immensely by reviewing HN with the participants.

The key to succeeding in any language is practicing it, so if you aren't reading during Mufti Yusuf's classes, I would encourage you to participate in these sessions. It's an excellent way to get out of your comfort zone. And you will get much more value out of your time than studying alone.

One limiting belief I had that stunted my progress is that one has to prepare in order to read. The problem with that belief is that it's difficult to establish a measure of preparedness. So the fear of not being prepared enough would kick in, and I wouldn't end up reading in the end.

Then I decided to embrace another paradigm - that one has to read in order to prepare. This paradigm fast-forwarded my progress. These sessions are meant to help you exercise that paradigm.

For more information on these sessions, visit this post.

    Assalaamu-Alaikum,

Due to travel, I will not be able to make it to the session tomorrow. I have taken my name off the list, so some one else can take up the spot.

    Wassalaam.

    Assalamo alaikom Brother Saad.

Jazzaku Allahu khairan for helping us so much in reading the HN book and asking us many critical questions and giving us well thought answers. Your tutorial opens up many of my weak points in terms of nahw, sarf and translation. At the same time, I am also consolidating Mufti Yusuf's teaching with the tutorial.

Alhamdulillah I am really making good progress and would like to invite students to join who would like to improve their above mentioned areas.
    salaam.

    Assalamo alaikom.
Due to family matter, I could not read HN today. I took my name off the list.
    Salam.
